Does Your Short Sale Agent Have Established Relationships With Chase?

If you’re watching this it probably means you have a loan with Chase and are considering a short sale. Chase is a lender that we’ve worked with for a very long time and the upper management there that handles the short sales are people that I’ve gotten to know very well over the years. The gentleman that is in charge of Chase short sales, I actually know him on personal level from different trade shows that I have been to. I actually have his cell phone number; the neat thing about this is that when I’m involved in a Chase short sale and something happens with the people that are processing the short sale, it’s very easy for me to pick up the phone and talk to him about get the short sale moving in the right direction. This is an enormous advantage for the seller because agents such as myself that have been short sales for a very long time typically have these personal relationships with people at the banks and it’s very important, especially when doing a Chase short sale, that you work with someone that has that established rapport and relationship. As far as short sales go, Chase does a very good job; they’re very proactive and do care about their homeowners and borrowers, but this still doesn’t guarantee that the entire process is going to go smoothly. Having somebody that has the kind of relationship that can make a phone call to an upper management person at Chase that can wave their hand and make all their problems go away is a very big thing to your short sale.

If you have a Chase loan I’d like to encourage to pick up the phone and give us a call or fill out the short sale request form online and we’ll be in touch with you soon.

Things to Know and Be Prepared For When Completing a Short Sale with Chase

Hi there, I’m Shawn Polston with TucsonShortSale.com, one of Tucson’s leading short sale teams. I wanted to talk to you today about Chase short sales. Chase is doing a number of things on the short sale front. They have a proactive program where you may have received a letter from Chase about how they may give you some money and in some cases up to $30,000 to do a short sale. Those letters are real so hang on to that and give me a call if you got one of those letters from them. The other thing about Chase is you need to make sure who you’re hiring is familiar with Chase and how Chase operates. It can get a little frustrating dealing with Chase if you aren’t aware of how to work your way through their system.

The other interesting thing is that their processors, they don’t do email or voicemail. Whoever you are going to look to handle your Chase short sale, you need to ask your agent is what kind of administrative staff they have, and who is going to be handling your file. I just wanted to get this out there. My team has three full time staff back there and that’s what they are doing. We have dedicated phone lines just for the banks to call us on. We want to make sure that when these banks call us, we are able to talk to them. Again, I’m Shawn Polston with TucsonShortSale.com, your number one Tucson short sale team and we are here to help. Please contact us today so we can answer any questions you have about the short sale process.

Hello everyone I am Shawn Polston with Tucson Short Sale Negotiator, thank you for joining me today. I work with Keller Williams Realty in the Tucson area and run the best short sale team in the area. I blog every week to provide Tucson homeowners with information on short sales and the different lenders and programs associated with it. For today’s topic I wanted to talk about working with Chase and EMC on a short sale file and what to expect during the process. A lot of people may not know but EMC and Chase are actually the same bank. While looking over the real estate blogs and websites recently I have heard some negative things about Chase short sales. For me this is very puzzling because both lenders are among my favorites for negotiating a short sale. Their systems are reliable and if you follow their guidelines your short sale will be quick and easy.
